De CorresponDent“De Correspondent” è una piattaforma olandese di giornalismo online che dà spazio ai retroscena, alle analisi delle notizie, al giornalismo investigativo, concen- trandosi su storie che tendono a sfuggire ai radar dei media mainstream perché non conformi a ciò che viene oggi inteso come “breaking news”. Quando la guerra civile è diventata un conflitto geopolitico che ha coinvolto l’Iran e l’Arabia Saudita, la città ha subito un assedio di settimane. Utilizzare la macchina era così costoso, che gli uomini andavano in bicicletta. Bushra Al Fusail, tramite Facebook, ha invitato ottanta donne a fare un giro in bicicletta per le strade della capitale. Ha filmato l’evento, e ha postato il video su Facebook con il titolo Bike4- Yemen. L’evento, scandaloso in Yemen, è diventato un caso politico internazionale e da New York al Cairo, dall’Australia a Parigi, sono state organizzate gite in bici- cletta di solidarietà.sabato 28 novembre, odeon, ore 21:30Bushra Al Fusail is a young photographer living in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen. The city has been under siege for weeks now, ever since the civil war swelled into a geopolitical conflict involving Iran and Saudi Arabia. Driving became so expen- sive that men often used bicycles. Bushra Al Fusail, using Facebook, invited eighty women to come for a bike ride through the streets of the capital city. She filmed the event, and posted it on Facebook as Bike4Yemen.
