At Salone del Gusto 2014, 800 square meters will be dedicated to the Ark, both to the products already catalogued and to the other examples of biodiversity we have not yet mapped.Resilience will be represented by the hundreds and thousands of communities, men and women, young and old, for whom resilire has even more value, be- cause it is based on a choice, a desire: to say no to monocultures, to say no to chemicals, to produce food and not commodities, to renounce the delusions of the market and to give value to local cultures. It is often these communities that can ensure that the Ark does not simply become a list of memories, of things that were once eaten and are now irretrievably lost, but rather a list of possible projects and virtuous economies. Resilience does mean leaping back, but in a leap full of far-sightedness and pragmatism. Because without diversity, without a healthy planet and those who care for it with love, no future can be possible.11
